Lễ trà tỳ Kudung (nhục thân) của Ngài Khenchen Sonam Gyatso – bậc Đạo sư uyên bác, tinh thông các bộ luận, viên mãn cả trong giảng giải kinh điển lẫn biện luận giáo pháp của dòng truyền thừa Sakya – được cử hành vào ngày 30/01/2026 tại tu viện Sakya College for Nuns (Dehradun, Ấn Độ). Ngài cũng chính là bậc Thầy tôn quý của Đức Thượng Thủ Sakya Việt Nam, Khondung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche, cùng nhiều bậc học giả và hành giả xuất chúng khác.
Nghi lễ trà tỳ được cử hành theo bốn pháp tu nghi quỹ của các Bổn tôn: Hevajra, Vajrayogini, Vajrasattva và Sarvavid Vairocana, như một sự hội tụ trọn vẹn giữa trí tuệ, từ bi và năng lực gia trì của Kim Cương thừa; với sự tham dự của Đức Thượng thủ Chưởng môn đời thứ 43 Gyana Vajra Rinpoche, Đức Thượng Thủ Sakya Việt Nam Khondung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche, Đức Thượng Toạ H.E Ngor Thartse Khen Rinpoche cùng tăng đoàn truyền thừa Sakya. Trước và trong buổi lễ trà tỳ, nhiều thiên tượng cát tường đã hiển lộ trên bầu trời, như minh chứng rõ ràng cho sự chứng đắc của một bậc Thành tựu giả.
Trong phước duyên sâu dày, đại diện Ban Thường vụ Sakya Việt Nam đã hiện diện tại tu viện Sakya College for Nuns, thành kính đảnh lễ Kudung của Ngài Khenchen Sonam Gyatso và tham dự nghi lễ trà tỳ. Kể từ khi hay tin Ngài viên tịch, chư tín hữu Đạo tràng Sakya Việt Nam đã liên tục cử hành các thời khóa cầu nguyện, tụng trì và hồi hướng theo tuần tự các thất, với tâm nguyện tri ân và tiếp nối dòng mạch gia trì của bậc Thầy khả kính.
Nguyện cho Đại nguyện thanh tịnh và công hạnh vô biên của Khenchen Rinpoche sớm được viên thành. Nguyện Ngài thị hiện trở lại nơi cõi đời này, tiếp tục hoằng dương Chánh Pháp, làm lợi lạc cho tất cả chúng hữu tình trong mười phương.

The cremation ceremony of the Kudung (sacred bodily remains) of Khenchen Sonam Gyatso Rinpoche—the erudite master, profound in all great treatises, accomplished in both scriptural exposition and philosophical debate within the Sakya lineage—will be held on January 30, 2026, at Sakya College for Nuns in Dehradun, India. He was also the revered teacher of The Head lama of Sakya Vietnam, His Emnience Khondung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche, as well as many other outstanding scholars and practitioners.
The cremation rites conducted according to four the tantric ritual practices of Hevajra, Vajrayogini, Vajrasattva, and Sarvavid Vairocana, constituting a complete convergence of wisdom, compassion, and the blessing power of Vajrayana; with the participation of H.H. the 43rd Sakya Trizin Gyana Vajra Rinpoche, H.E. Khöndung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche, H.E Ngor Thartse Khen Rinpoche and the Sangha.Before and during the cremation ceremony, numerous auspicious celestial signs manifested in the sky, serving as clear testimony to the spiritual attainment of a great accomplished master.
By virtue of profound karmic connection, representatives of the Standing Committee of Sakya Vietnam are present at Sakya College for Nuns to pay their respectful homage to the Kudung of Khenchen Sonam Gyatso and to participate in the cremation ceremony. Since receiving the news of his parinirvana, devotees of the Sakya Vietnam Sangha have continuously held prayer sessions, recitations, and dedications in successive weekly cycles, with heartfelt aspiration to express gratitude and to continue the unbroken stream of blessings of the venerable master.
May the pure aspirations and boundless enlightened activities of Khenchen Rinpoche swiftly come to full fruition. May he manifest again in this world to continue propagating the Holy Dharma, and bring benefit to all sentient beings in all directions.
